Chalet Alkimia, located in Valloire, was designed as a genuinely intimate retreat where elegance meets high-end comfort. Its cathedral-ceilinged living room, enhanced by a wood-burning fireplace and open kitchen, is the true heart of the chalet. Bathed in natural light through wide openings, this living space invites warm moments in a refined atmosphere, where mountain living takes on its full meaning, magnified by views over the surrounding peaks.

Chalet design
Completed in summer 2026, Alkimia is an entirely new build, the result of a collaboration between architects and an interior designer, conceived from the outset to offer an exceptional rental experience. Every space has been carefully designed, from volumes to materials, layout to lighting, to create a setting that is coherent, elegant and perfectly suited to hosting large groups.
The chalet welcomes up to 14 guests in an interior where the authenticity of the Savoie mountains blends with resolutely high-end amenities. An open, generous living space with a suspended fireplace, careful finishes, and amenities designed for togetherness : everything has been considered so that every stay leaves a lasting impression.

Are the rates on this site the best available?
Booking directly on Chalet Alkimia's official website always guarantees you the best rate, with no commission or additional fees unlike other websites where the chalet is listed.
How does a booking on our website work?
Once your deposit is paid (25% of the stay amount), your dates are reserved as a priority: the chalet is secured for you, subject to the availability check we systematically carry out beforehand. We confirm this availability within 24 hours. The rental agreement is then sent to you by email for electronic signature — a simple, one-click formality that officially confirms your booking. The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival. A few days before your arrival, a secure link will allow you to enter your card details for the security deposit (no charge is taken, except in case of damage found). End-of-stay cleaning is included in the price. Additional cleaning services can be arranged in advance, for an extra charge.
How does the security deposit work?
A few days before your arrival, you will receive a secure link by email to enter your card details, on which a hold is placed as a guarantee. This is not a charge: no amount is debited, except in the event of damage found upon departure. This deposit covers any damage to the property or furniture, lost keys, or a check-out requiring significantly more cleaning than usual. In the vast majority of stays, it is simply never used. The hold is automatically released within 7 days of your departure, provided the property is returned in its original condition.
How will we collect the chalet keys?
The keys will be handed to you in person on site by a member of our welcome team.
Are bed linen and bath towels included in the rental price?
Yes, bed linen is included in the price, and each guest is provided with a bath towel and a hand towel.
Are the beds made on arrival?
Yes, all beds are made before you arrive.
Can we arrive on a day other than Saturday?
During winter and summer school holiday periods (15 July to 31 August), arrivals are on Saturdays only. Outside these periods, please contact us to check availability if you'd like to arrive on another day.
Is access to the spa limited?
You have access to the wellness area 24/7. The sauna is not kept on continuously, but is available at any time. On the day of your arrival, it may not be hot straight away, as the water is changed between stays.
Do you have an electric vehicle charging point?
Yes, a charging point is available in the garage. An additional fee applies for its use.
Is the property non-smoking?
Yes, smoking is strictly forbidden inside the chalet.
Is housekeeping included?
Yes, end-of-stay cleaning is included in the price. Additional cleaning services can be arranged in advance, for an extra charge.
Is parking available for vehicles?
Yes, the chalet has three outdoor parking spaces reserved for you, under video surveillance in front of the property.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the chalet.
Do you accept holiday vouchers (chèques-vacances)?
No, this payment method is not currently accepted.
Do you have a washing machine, tumble dryer, raclette and fondue sets, hairdryers available?
Of course, the chalet is equipped with all of these, including a washer-dryer.
Do you provide firewood for the fireplace?
Yes, in winter only, we provide firewood in the garage for your stay.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4pm, and check-out must be no later than 10am. We cannot guarantee an early arrival or late departure if the chalet is booked before your stay, but we will be happy to let you know if this is possible.
